Dr. Nancy Chung
ABOUT DR. NANCY CHUNG
Dr. Nancy Chung graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry program in 1989. She has worked in many practices including downtown Toronto, Burlington, Oshawa and has been a partner at York Mills Eye Clinic since 1997 (where she gets to work with her daughter, Dr. Amanda Sim). Dr. Chung thoroughly enjoys giving back and has participated in and helped lead several medical missions to the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Kenya and Honduras and most recently, Jamaica.
Locally, she has volunteered with the Lions Club Gift of Sight Vision Van, Special Olympics and Homeless Connect providing the gift of sight to those in need. She is passionate about ocular health and has given many talks about optometry to different groups including Junior Kindergarten and high school classes, new mothers and seniors. She loves teaching, supervising and mentoring student interns from optometry schools in Pennsylvania and Waterloo. She is married, blessed with three children and one son in law, and loves cooking, running and traveling in her free time.
