Staff & Patient Measures
To protect you and our staff, we have significantly reduced the number of patients we will be seeing in our office and have implemented strict infection control procedures that meet guidelines from Public Health Ontario and the College of Optometrists of Ontario. Some of the things you can expect during your visit include:
Mandatory hand sanitizing station for staff and patients at our front entrance, plastic barriers at the reception and dispensary desks, and changes to our waiting room area to permit safe social distancing.
Staff are outfitted with PPE and follow strict hand washing and health/safety measures at all times. Clinical and shared spaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each patient visit.
A mask that covers your nose and mouth must be worn while you are in the office. We ask that if possible, that you do not have anyone accompany you. If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or eye infection, please call us so that we can direct you accordingly.
